I do machine learning.

I'm also a proud graduate of the Recurse Center and a data scientist at Shopify.

I am interested in human-computer interaction, in particular when artificial intelligence is involved. Some of my previous work has focused on computer vision (object detection, image classification), speech and music information retrieval as well as reinforcement learning problems. Currently, I am looking to collaborate on ideas that introduce real-time human interaction in teaching a system some complex behaviour.

Previously, I completed a BSc in Economics from the University of Amsterdam and a minor in Computer Science from Harvard.

Besides research and coding, I get quite excited about travelling, deep sea diving and music.
